Tbh I’m a bit disappointed here. The work done on Vaan’s expressions through the game is great, and here Balthier 1) makes Vaan his “heir” 2) states he might sacrifice himself if needed, and Vaan’s expression is bland. It’s not a shocked face, the animation is really nonexistent here
