please consider Kida/Ariel!! They’d be PERFECT together
Atlantis and Atlantica are fictional aquatic places. Who’s to say that they’re not situated close to each other?
Ariel frequently travels around looking for sunken ships and human artifacts that are scattered across the sea. Kida’s a highly adept swimmer/athlete who explores a lot herself. It wouldn’t take much for these two to accidentally stumble upon each other.
One of Ariel’s strongest traits is her need to learn things. She’s pretty much a self-taught amateur anthropologist.
Kida has lived for a very long time, she possesses knowledge gained over the course of 8 thousand+ years. Think of what she could teach Ariel! Scuttle definitely wasn’t a competent teacher, but Kida would set Ariel on the right path. Kida would be the firm but patient type.
Kida’s probably the only non-mermaid that could keep up with Ariel underwater.
They’re both curious, active, fearless people. They’d go on so many adventures together!!
Tiana would inspire Giselle to become someone with initiative and maturity, and Giselle would help Tiana see that you can relax sometimes and enjoy the magic in life
Esme would pick just the right moments to tease/flirt with Mulan to get her to blush (because Esme thinks it’s cute how easily Mulan gets flustered)
Naveen’s a natural flirt and he’s confident in his sexuality. Hercules is awkward in regards to that stuff. Imagine Naveen serenading Herc with his ukulele and Herc twiddling his fingers + blushing!!
Milo is extremely similar to Jane, so if you replaced Jane with Milo, Tarzan’s movie would still play out the same way
I looove the idea of the usually fearless and decisive Kida being hesitant and shy around Pocahontas!!
Jasmine and Megara would be a couple unrivaled in sass and wit. They would verbally destroy all men standing in their way….
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) This is going exactly where you think it’s going ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Aladdin has the compassion/kindness to help Beast become a better person. These 2 would empathize with each other because 1) they’re both a bit self-pitying and 2) their lives kinda suck
Although the spaghetti eating sequence is probably now the best known scene from the film, Walt Disney was prepared to cut it, thinking that it would not be romantic and that dogs eating spaghetti would look silly. Animator Frank Thomas was against Walt’s decision and animated the entire scene himself without any lay-outs. Walt was impressed by Thomas’s work and how he romanticized the scene and kept the scene in.
