vaan and tomaj cuddle so much. they’re that weird couple that sits on the same side of the booth and cuddle while they wait for their food. they hold hands/wrap their arms around one another as they walk down the street. if there’s not enough room somewhere for them to cuddle, tomaj sits on vaan’s lap and vaan holds him close. they’re so hands-on with their affection and thrive off of pda because it’s so commonplace for any dalmascan (as @skystones and i have discussed at LENGTH) to be lovey-dovey with anyone they’re familiar with. they’re constantly doing little things for one another, like buying flowers or making sweets/food. tomaj jars his own hot peppers (and i mean hot. ghost pepper hot) and they’re vaan’s absolute favorite food other than dalmascan chocolate (which is also spicy). every time vaan returns to dalmasca, tomaj sends him off with several jars and a few letters to read while he’s away pirating again. and vaan brings him back trinkets, books, spirits, and other things he thinks tomaj will genuinely love. sometimes it’s something as simple as a crystal-laden rock. they tell each other constantly how much they love one another, even if it’s through action, it’s always there. it’s so sweet, it makes others sick. tomaj and vaan are that couple. the couple that everyone admires but hates because love like that isn’t supposed to exist.
