I always assumed that this video meant that Baralai killed Maester Kinoc. I mean, I think in FFX it was 100% supposed to Seymour, but when I first saw it I assumed that’s what it meant.

IDK it’s an interesting theory, because if it looked like Seymour didn’t do it, he was doing a decent job hiding his crazy in front of Yevonites which would explain why they supported him so long. I mean, you’re confronted by that squad upon leaving the calm lands, it seems weird he still would wield that sort of power if he was openly murdering people for questioning him going against Micha’s word
