89  Balthier – Final Fantasy XII

Balthier is the leading man and don’t you forget it. As sky pirate and all around suave, he strikes a smarmy first impression, but beneath we find a story about someone running from their own identity. It was interesting to play a game from the point of view of someone who is obviously not the main character… Vaan tries hard, but it’s hard to hold your weight when Balthier is on the scene.
