Yoko is going to be in a Kansai/Fuji tv detective drama called “ON~ Ijouhanzai Sousakan Todou Hinako” 

It will be about Todou Hinako (played by Haru) a rookie detective who holds a darkness in her heart and uses her incredible memory to find murderers. Yoko will play Shouji Yasuhisa her sempai detective, who’s a bit of an outlaw and passionately hates crime. Yoko’s character used to be the ace of the department but because of a certain incident this all fell apart (this incident will be revealed during the series). He has an usual hatred for murderers and will even use illegal investigative methods to catch them. The two detectives have a completely opposite approach to their investigation, how will this affect their relationship?

There will also be action scenes. “I have watched lots of action films and have been wanting to do action scenes myself as well, so I’m really looking forward to them. I’ll do them to the best of my abilities” said Yokoyama.

It will start 7.12 with a 2hour special.

Yoko’s comment:

When I read the script I was incredibly fascinated by the world view presented. “Uwa! This is interesting! I’m going to be in this kind of world” I was immediately  looking forward to it. Shouji has really strong believes towards murderers. I hope to portray that strong believe in my acting. I think its really cool that even though he’s foul mouthed, he has a really clumsy way of showing kindness. Even though we are also supposed to be a sempai/kouhai pair, I hope to be pulled along by Haru (lol). I hope to do my best to make sure the audience will be able to watch it with suspense.
