For the first time in 9 years Yoko will appear in a play.
Its called blue moon and will be performed at the Globe theater in Tokyo from May 23 to June 14.
A young man, who is unable to tell his lover something important, goes into a timeslip and thanks to a meeting that overcomes time and space grows as a person. Its a romantic comedy.
“To be honest, I am kind of scared, but it is through challenges that you improve yourself” said Yoko after being asked about it being 9 years since his last play.
The director, Suzuki Yumi, said “I heard he often looses his wallet and his phone. Its kind of embarrassing, but I do the same thing, so I have a strong sense of sympathy for him.” It sounds like they’ll make an excellent combination.
congratulations yoko!
